Bye bye Lyon

On T.G.I.Thursday I finished my marketing and communication internship so now I'm free to fly back to my dear Spain and my lovely home town beach whom I hear is missing me almost as much as I am =)
I bought myself a yummy fairwell gift after lunch today at one of my favourite places in Lyon to munch at: Le paradis du Fruit  http://www.leparadisdufruit.fr/index2.html Check it:

Genève

So I went to Geneva the other day...

Calm, clean and classy

Too much of all of them for my taste.

Lyon annual vintage market

It seems to me that Lyon has no intermediate temperatures. Fall and spring are for other cities I guess... Why bother gently drifting from one season into the next? What a waste of time huh?!

Anyway, yesterday in 32 degrees weather and blaaaazing sun I set out on a little boat trip on the Saone river that took me from Hotel de Ville until the new mall, La Confluence for some yum yum yummmyy sashimi. And an electric blue mothers day rose?! hehe

After that I went looking for a vintage clothing market, that I heard about online, not quite knowing was I was going to find. (Or how to find it apparently seeing as I got lost several times before I found it)

It turned out to be pretty AMAZING and made the desertic adventure worthwhile. These pictures do not give you an accurate idea of how much stuff they had there oh em gee

My favourite part was definitely the people and the vibe. It was almost summer music festivaly. Check out some pics:

Good typical Lyon bouchon - le Laurencin

If you are feeling brave enough to try typical Lyon cuisine, which consists mostly of animal's insides, you should definitely try Le Laurencin a well known bouchon located in the heart of Lyon. (Vieux Lyon)

You may or may not like the typical Andouillete or "tripe sausage" as it is described on the menu, but one thing is sure: you sure get your money's worth in food. These beauties are included in the 15 euro menu!

Deeee- lish!
